Is Push Health worth it? The short answer
Our verdict
Push Health is for you if you know what you want and mainly need a prescriber: request Wegovy or another GLP-1, and a provider sends it to your chosen pharmacy, often within a day. There is no program, coaching or monthly fee. The consult fee appears only inside the request, so check it, and your pharmacy price, first.
- Good for: You have insurance or a savings card and want the prescription at your usual pharmacy
- Look elsewhere if: You want coaching, scheduled check-ins and a care team

Where this comes from →What it does well, and what to watch
What we like
- No subscription and no insurance needed: you pay for the request, not a monthly program
- Your prescription goes to the pharmacy you pick, so your insurance or a savings card can apply at the counter
- Same-day consultations are available, and most requests are reviewed within 24 hours
- A full refund if you cancel before your provider writes the prescription
What to watch
- The consultation fee for weight loss is not published; it appears only once you are in the request
- Medication is not included: you pay the pharmacy's price, which can be the full list price without coverage
- Prescriptions go to the pharmacy you choose, and Push Health neither sells nor ships the medication
- No refund once you approve the prescription your provider recommends
Who Push Health suits, and who should look elsewhere
A good fit if
- You have insurance or a savings card and want the prescription at your usual pharmacy
- You want a one-time request rather than a monthly membership
- You already know which medication and dose you are asking for
Look elsewhere if
- You want coaching, scheduled check-ins and a care team
- You want medication mailed to you inside one price
- You want to see the consult fee before you start the request
How Push Health works, start to finish
Push Health is a software platform, in use since 2013, that connects you with independent licensed doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
More about how it works
You choose a pharmacy, fill in a request that names the medication, dose and quantity you want plus your health history, and a provider usually reviews it within 24 hours. If appropriate, the prescription is routed to any of more than 50,000 U.S. pharmacies or a manufacturer program. Push Health is not a pharmacy and does not sell or ship medication. Its weight-loss list includes semaglutide (Ozempic, Rybelsus, Wegovy), tirzepatide, liraglutide and the orforglipron pill; controlled weight-loss drugs are not prescribed. Lab tests through Quest are available in many states when your provider offers them.
- Choose the pharmacy where you want the prescription sent.
- Enter your details, your weight, and the medication, dose and quantity you want.
- Answer the health questions and agree to the terms.
- A licensed provider reviews it, usually within 24 hours; same-day consults exist.
- If approved, pay any fee and the prescription goes to your pharmacy.
- Collect and pay for the medication at that pharmacy.
What Push Health includes in the price
- A review by a licensed provider
- E-prescribing to over 50,000 pharmacies
- Secure messaging with your provider
- Quest lab orders, where your provider offers them
If you want to cancel or get a refund
There is no subscription to cancel. If you cancel before your provider writes the prescription, every fee for that request is refunded. Once you approve the prescription your provider recommends, no refund is given.
