Is Hers worth it? The short answer
Our verdict
Hers is for women who want the FDA-approved product and like handling everything in one app: a daily Wegovy or Ozempic pill, or a weekly pen up to the high dose. The membership pays for care, and medication is billed beside it. Price both, and settle on the medication within 48 hours of paying.
- Good for: You want brand-name semaglutide and would rather take a daily pill than inject
- Look elsewhere if: You want one all-in monthly figure rather than a membership plus medication

What it does well, and what to watch
What we like
- Brand-name semaglutide only, as a daily pill or a weekly pen, including the Wegovy high dose
- A Wegovy pill microdosing plan and an Ozempic pill sit on the same menu, priced from the same figure as the Wegovy pill
- Unlimited messaging with providers around the clock, monthly check-ins and dose changes are part of the membership
- A smart scale, a private member community and partner discounts come with the membership
What to watch
- The membership does not include medication: you pay a monthly membership and a separate medication plan, so add both before you compare
- The first membership month is discounted and then renews at the full monthly figure; the first month's fee is not refunded
- Medication is refunded only if you cancel within 48 hours of your first payment, and never once it has shipped
- Cancel at least two days before your billing date, and canceling only the medication plan leaves the membership billing
Who Hers suits, and who should look elsewhere
A good fit if
- You want brand-name semaglutide and would rather take a daily pill than inject
- You want a women's health brand whose plan is shaped by its own medical experts
- You like messaging a provider at any hour and checking in once a month
Look elsewhere if
- You want one all-in monthly figure rather than a membership plus medication
- You want compounded semaglutide, which is not on its weight-loss menu
- You want your first month back if the program is not for you
How Hers works, start to finish
Hers is the women's brand of Hims & Hers Health, Inc.
More about how it works
Its Weight Loss Membership buys an online evaluation, monthly check-ins, dose changes and unlimited messaging with providers from its affiliated medical groups, plus a care team, a smart scale on request and a private member community. Medication is bought on a separate Medication Plan and ships from pharmacies named in its terms, or, for some brand-name self-pay programs, is sent to a manufacturer's pharmacy partner. The weight-loss menu is brand-name only: the Wegovy pill and pen (including the high dose), the Ozempic pill and pen, Zepbound, Mounjaro and the orforglipron pill. It is not available in every state.
- Join the Weight Loss Membership; the first month costs less than the rest.
- Answer the online intake about your health, weight and current medications.
- A provider reviews it and decides whether a GLP-1 fits, and which one.
- If prescribed, choose a medication plan, billed apart from the membership.
- Medication ships to your door, and Hers says you can start within the week.
- Check in monthly and message your care team as your dose changes.
What Hers includes in the price
- A personalized treatment plan
- Messaging with licensed providers, day or night
- Monthly check-ins and dose adjustments
- Side-effect support from the first dose
- A smart scale, if you opt in
- A private community of Hers members
- Discounts on meal kits and fitness apps
If you want to cancel or get a refund
The membership and the medication plan both renew until you cancel in the app, by email or by phone, at least two days before billing. Ending only the medication plan leaves the membership running. Medication is refunded only within 48 hours of your first payment, and never once it ships.

Questions people ask about Hers
Is the Hers membership the same as the medication cost?
No. The membership pays for care, check-ins and messaging. Your Wegovy or Ozempic is a separate monthly plan, priced in the box above, so you pay both every month.
Can I get the Wegovy pill from Hers instead of a shot?
Yes. Hers offers the daily Wegovy pill, a microdosing plan built on it, and an Ozempic pill, each starting at the same monthly figure. A provider decides which, if any, suits you.
Will Hers bill my insurance?
No. Insurance is not required, and the prices shown are cash prices. An FSA or HSA card may work, but your provider may ask for a receipt so you can claim reimbursement.
How do I stop paying Hers?
Cancel under My Subscriptions in the app, by email or by phone, at least two days before billing. Ending the medication plan alone keeps the membership billing, so cancel both if you are leaving.
Is there compounded semaglutide at Hers?
Not on its weight-loss menu today. Every option listed is a brand-name product: Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound, Mounjaro and the orforglipron pill.
